iMac QuadCore with Snow Leopard in 2009?
Posted in: Apple, DesktopsApple has decided not to release a new iMac in November and we know why. Indeed, it appears that the Cupertino firm is waiting quietly for the new QuadCore processors from Intel. In the program, we should find three types of processors: the Core 2 Quad Q8200, the Core 2 Quad Q9400 and Core 2 Quad Q9550 will be respectively clocked at 2.33 GHz (4 MB of level 2 cache), 2.66 GHz (6 MB of level 2 cache) and 2.83 GHz (12 MB of level 2 cache).
The release date of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard has been advanced to the first quarter of 2009. So we thinked that the future iMac desktop will benefit from the latest version of Mac OS X.
