Kingston wants to change this by offering a new 2GB SO-DIMM memory designed specifically for the netbook which supports 533MHz memory. The models include the range compatible with MSI Wind, Asus Eee and Gigabyte. 1GB costs just $35.
The GM-M8000 keyboard by Gigabyte has a 4000dpi sensor, five programmable buttons, all in an ergonomic design. You have three profiles and you can access various macro settings, to meet the needs of different games and / or users. The price is not known, but it should be around $100.
Gigabyte is another device to reveal the next CeBIT, and this is the GK-K6800 keyboard. Designed to merge a luxurious design and trend in a single device, the GK-K6800 keyboard has a glossy coating, while the multimedia features were specifically designed to complement the overall experience. With a volume knob steel, you will not have to fumble with the software volume. The price of the GK-K6800 is not known, then we will have to wait for Gigabyte announcements at CeBIT.

Panasonic has released two new Blu-ray drives that can connect to the Internet. The two models are the DMP-BD80 and DMP-BD60 include standard specifications of sound and image, and users can also watch YouTube videos and Picasa pictures on their HDTVs. Micro Innovations is the latest in a long list to use bamboo in the manufacture of their products: speakers, card reader, webcam, USB hub, keyboard and mouse. Most of these devices will be available in April or May of this year.
Dell has finally released its Wasabi PZ310 printer that we saw last month at CES. This portable printer is specially designed to work with APN that supports PictBridge using the USB, and more Bluetooth devices to facilitate wireless printing. The Wasabi PZ310 printer will be based on ZINK (zero-ink) technology borrowed from Polaroid, using a layer in the paper itself to print an image, so it doesn’t need cartridge ink or toner. You can produce a full color image of 5.1cm x 7.6cm in about 60 seconds, which isn’t bad for a device of this kind. The Dell PZ310 printer will be sold at the promotional price of $99, and it will cost $149 when the promotional period will be over. For peculiar reasons to Dell, this printer doesn’t recognize the iPhone, but this might change in the future.
Sony Japan has announced the DR-BT100CXP, new Bluetooth 2.1 headphones with a remote control and a microphone. These can be used with a digital player or a mobile phone and will be available in early February.
