Sony released its HVR-HD1000 video camera in the Japanese market

Already widely available in North America and Europe, the HVR-HD1000, finally saw the day in Japan. Expected in January 2009, this new video camera is primarily intended for people who want to have a professional look and looking for mobility. Yes, this video camera (like a real pro camera) and its black finish, is in fact a average HDV camcorder. You will not have in your hands a real competitor to the professional video cameras, as the XDCAM for example.
