Acer TravelMate 5730-FC25: New laptop
Posted in: LaptopsAcer introduced in Japan a new laptop model of the range of 5730, the FC25. The latter has the following features:
- LCD 15.4-inch screen
- Resolution 1280×800 pixels
- Intel Core 2 Duo P8400
- 2 GB of RAM
- 250 GB of storage
- SuperMulti DVD drive
- WiFi
- 1 HDMI port
- 1 eSata port
- 1 fingerprint reader
The Acer 5730-FC25 will be available by the end of this month (in Japan) for an amount of $1,180.

recently purchased 32 acer 5730 for client.
insisted they were shipped with xp disks,
(lord i’m sorry i our sinned, but no more vista please lord!)
only one of the xp disks worked!
31 did not!
after 2 weeks, 9 of the computers get a white screen and need a reboot.
this happens when the power management kicks in.
tried new drives, bios flash, me stumped, acer also stumped!
