MCJ, or Mouse Computer Japan, has announced the m-Book GX580, their latest high-end laptop.

Powered by a Core 2 Duo T9600 (2.8 GHz), our powerful laptop is equipped with a 17-inch LCD WUXGA display (1900×1200), an ambitious graphics card, the GeForce 9800M GTX and its 1 GB VRAM (DVI and HDMI), 4 GB of RAM PC3-8500, 500GB of hard drive, Wi-Fi Link 5300, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a DVD Super Multi drive.

Our small m-Book GX580 weighs 4.1 kilograms for a size of 397×284x44mm and will be sold in Japan for the price of 289,800 yen ($3,200). Specifications are rather nice, but at this price, I’m not sure that this laptop will be all the rage in Japan …
