The UAC of Vista is not optimal
Posted in: Softwares
Steven Sinofsky, vice president of Windows and Windows Live department at Microsoft acknowledges that the UAC (User Account Control) was (and still is not) not optimal and its default is to be gone too far. Also according S. Sinofsky, the reason for the establishment of the UAC was to better protect the user, and this attention is commendable, but the establishment still suffers from flaws of youth.
It is now official that Microsoft says that the UAC is too intrusive, and it is one of the elements that will be reviewed and corrected in Windows Seven. Moreover, in pre-beta version of the new operating system, there are already four levels of settings for UAC. Proof that Microsoft can also recognize and correct its errors.
