Asus Lamborghini VX5 laptop

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

Asus has decided to make the Lamborghini VX5 laptop even faster with a 1TB SSD drive, making it the first model of its kind in the world. Unveiled before the CeBIT in Germany starts, the Lamborghini VX5 can store an enormous amount of data over a standard hard drive, while providing the benefits that only a SSD can issue – the load times faster, power consumption lower, and is less sensitive to shocks and falls. The Lamborghini VX5 laptop works with an Intel Core 2 Quad, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 130M GT graphics card, a backlit keyboard and a Blu-ray. The price is of course up to the performance.

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

The updated models of the Eee Box desktops, named Eee Box B204 and Eee Box B206 include an HDMI connection, which is a standard for television today. It is not surprising that Asus has also added Eee Cinema, an application that reads the multimedia content, including HD video – thanks to its ATI Radeon HD 3400 graphics processor of 256MB. Note that the Eee B206 has the WiFi-N, the fastest wireless standard in the market. It will be convenient for streaming media files from a remote server.

It will not be long before these desktops record the TV (+ $100) and read Blu-Ray (+ $150). For now, the price is too high, but this is a matter of time.
