You can find the XPS 435 on the Dell website, and a quick look at the specifications shows that it is a high-end desktop PC: Core i7 Extreme, powerful graphics card, Blu-Ray drive in option, to 24GB of RAM and a hard drive up to 4.5TB. It has a piano black surface on the front, white on the side and “Ferrari red” accents. The design of the interior is not great, but there is enough space for the extension and the … cooling.

Dell PZ310 Wasabi printer released

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

Dell has finally released its Wasabi PZ310 printer that we saw last month at CES. This portable printer is specially designed to work with APN that supports PictBridge using the USB, and more Bluetooth devices to facilitate wireless printing. The Wasabi PZ310 printer will be based on ZINK (zero-ink) technology borrowed from Polaroid, using a layer in the paper itself to print an image, so it doesn’t need cartridge ink or toner. You can produce a full color image of 5.1cm x 7.6cm in about 60 seconds, which isn’t bad for a device of this kind. The Dell PZ310 printer will be sold at the promotional price of $99, and it will cost $149 when the promotional period will be over. For peculiar reasons to Dell, this printer doesn’t recognize the iPhone, but this might change in the future.

The Inspiron Mini 12 is a Netbook in the line of Dell. However, its display is larger than the average, with a wide of 12.1-inch for a resolution of 1366×768 pixels which is more reminiscent of a laptop. Apart from this advantage Inspiron Mini is also driven by an Intel Atom Z520 (1.33 GHz) or Z530 (1.6 GHz) which difference with the Atom N270 is to have the Hyper-Threading. The rest of its features remain relatively conventional with a hard drive with a 80 GB, 1 GB of memory, Bluetooth and WiFi G connectivity, 3 USB ports, a memory card reader, sound input and output, a VGA connector and a Ethernet port, a weight of 1.25kg and less than 2.5cm of width.
