Count $2199 for the basic configuration, additional $576 for an Extreme processor and $420 for the SSD 128Go.

The DSi has arrived in Japan

Nintendo has chosen this weekend of three days in Japan to launch the new version of its portable console, the DSi. They were 400 to line up Saturday morning in front of the Bicamera of Ikebukuro in Tokyo to afford the machine which costs 18,900 yen ($190). A launch without too much horseplay, normal for a minor evolution of the DS. We will certainly have to wait until summer 2009 to take advantage elsewhere.

Silverstone Raven RV01: New gaming computer case

The Silverstone company presents its first formally computer case for gamers, the Raven RV01. In terms of features, we notice:

  • Five 5.25-inch bays
  • Six 3.5-inch bays
  • Location for motherboard on the front (so that the rear panel gives to the top of the desktop case)
  • The power adapter is at the bottom of the computer case
