MSI X-Slim X340 and X600 netbooks

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

MSI has released two X-Slim netbooks in China, and both the X340 and X600 seem ready to compete against the MacBook Air, but at a much more affordable price. The first has a 13.4-inch screen, while the second has a 15.6-inch screen. We wonder why China is the only country to receive both netbooks until now because we are certain that the world is happy to welcome them with open arms. Some rumors said that MSI would deadlock on the Atom processor and would prefer a Pentium, with the possibility of including the ION platform of Nvidia. The price is not known, but we think it could be between $700 and $1000.
