You thought the mini video projector of 3M was cool? Well, wait and see what follows! Here is the CV-MP01, another compact video projector that offers globally the same features, but with a size of only 40 x 57 x 59mm with a weight of 90g. However, the CV-MP01 is a standard LCOS projector, with a LED backlight with a lifespan of 10,000 hours, and a 4:3 image ratio and a VGA resolution.

I don’t know if you are possessor of such a device … but personally I have one, and I still can not see with how to use it, or when to use it … So when will you use a LCOS video projector?

Sharp has a new DLP projector, the PG-F255W which includes the following specifications:

• WXGA resolution (1280 x 800)
• BrilliantColor Technology
• 2500 ANSI lumens
• Contrast Ratio of 2200:1

It costs less than $1,000, making it suitable for commercial applications, like home entertainment. However, you will not have full HD quality.

Would you like to have a tiny projector which is comfortably holding in the palm of your hand? Well, the ADTEC AD-MP15A projector is based on the LED technology. The projector has a brightness of 15 lumens and a contrast ratio of 200:1, which is exceptionally pico for this kind of projector. Other specifications include a mono speaker of 0.3W, a LED lamp with a lifespan of 20,000 hours and easy connectivity to a variety of devices such as laptops, mobile phones and other devices. You can buy the ADTEC AD-MP15A in Japan towards the end of this month at a price of $427.

Presented a few months ago, during a press conference Victor-JVC, the DLA-HD750 is now available in the white color. This new version is limited to 200 units.
For specs, no change. Our DLA-HD750-W proposes always a contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and a brightness of 900 lumens.
Finally, this is Ful HD projector, and is compatible 1080p 60/50/24. Available for December 25 for a price of 756,000 yen ($8000).

Hitachi released its latest AV projector, the CP-X10000. Features include: 7500 lumens brightness, a contrast ratio of 2500:1, a wide-angle, full digital video processor 10-bit, a lamp of a lifetime of 10,000 hours, RS-232 network bridge.

It has a bayonet system which allows you to choose the best optical according to the rooms where you are. The price is not known yet.

The Epson EH-TW400 is a new high-end projector which supports full 1080p high-definition (1920×1080 resolution). It offers new D7/C2FINE LCD, a brightness of 1,600 lumens, a contrast ratio of 75,000:1, two HDMI 1.3a ports, 2.1 x optical zoom, four-way lens shift control and adopts DEEPBLACK technology for an improved black level. It will be launched in Japan on November 28. Price: $3,700.

The Optoma TX1080 multimedia projector offers a high definition resolution with native 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution and a DLP chipset plus BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments.

With a remarkable brightness, this multimedia projector has a 3600 lumens lamp and a contrast ratio of 2200:1, for a business or home theater use. Offering network management functionality and a multitude of connectivity options (DVI, VGA, S-Video, composite, RS-232, RJ45 and USB), it also features native pixel matching with any PC resolution and is one of the brightest HD multimedia projectors for any corporate environment. Price: $3,499.99.

Mitsubishi has released WD510U and WD500U-ST projector displays which have the following specifications:

The Mitsubishi WD510U and WD-ST-500U projector displays are respectively sold for the prices of $1,495 and $1,695.

This is certainly not the ideal product to watch a movie and sip a small cocktail, but here is the CP-X809J, a video data projector built for the office and durability.
The projector uses a “Inorganic Panel” which enables it to offer 5000 lumens, all with a 275W lamp, an HDMI port and 4×4W speakers with SRS WOW. Price: $8500 in Japan.

It is in Japan that BenQ has announced its new video projector for professionals, the MP624, which offers a resolution of 1024×768 pixels, a brightness of 3,000 lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and all the video plugs with HDMI. Price: 99,800 yen or $1030.
