Sharp has a new DLP projector, the PG-F255W which includes the following specifications:

  • WXGA resolution (1280 x 800)
  • BrilliantColor Technology
  • 2500 ANSI lumens
  • Contrast Ratio of 2200:1
  • DVI / VGA inputs
  • Speakers
  • RS-232C/USB ports
  • Ethernet Connectivity
  • Audio output

It costs less than $1,000, making it suitable for commercial applications, like home entertainment. However, you will not have full HD quality.

Sharp HN-PP150: AQUOS Photo Player provides photos on your HDTV

Here is the Sharp AQUOS Photo Player (HN-PP100 or HN-PP150), which is a mixture between a compact photo printer (300 x 300 dpi) and a memory card reader to display your photos on an HDTV.
The HN-PP150, has an Ethernet port and is compatible DLNA, which allows you to connect your AQUOS Photo Player on your network and thus access to your photos on your NAS.

It also has an IR port, you can use it with mobile phones and therefore print the photos of your mobile phone. Finally you also have an HDMI port to connect your AQUOS Photo Player to your HDTV. Price: $250.

The Sharp WX-T923 has been approved by the FCC. The opportunity therefore to know a little more about it. Japanese customers of SoftBank may welcome the arrival of the Aquos Fulltouch 931SH of Sharp. It possesses more of a sliding alphanumeric QWERTY keyboard, a 3.8″ screen of 1024×480 resolution. It’s the same screen size as the HTC Touch HD which contents with a resolution of 800×480, both ready for 16/9 cinema. But the 931SH is still equipped with lots of good things, like a 1Seg tuner and a 5-megapixel apn. Another reason to want to move to Japan.
