Sotec is not as famous as Asus in netbooks, but that does not mean it can not escape its own. Their latest model is the Sotec C103 which includes standard specifications:
It will be in black and white version – it would be cool to see Sotec add a myriad of colors to look more attractive.
Last week, Sotec (a brand of Onkyo) announced its latest 15.4-inch laptop (with a resolution of 1280 x 800), available in three different versions.
The high-end version have a Core 2 Duo P9500 at 1.53GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB of hard drive (SATA 5400rpm), a DVD Super Multi and a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 with 256 MB VRAM.
Nothing surprising here for a laptop for a price of 149,800 yen ($1,660).
The Netbooks do their show at the end of the year. The festive season approaching, manufacturers are launching new models. So, Sotec announced its C101K3W.
Based on the Netbook C1 of the same manufacturer, this laptop computer displays its Japanese origin. Thus, it is entirely decorated in the colors of Hello Kity. Declined in a multitude of products, the famous cat now arrives on laptops.
For the configuration, we find the classic N270 Atom processor from Intel of 1.6GHz, the CPU of low consumption comes with 1 GB of memory in DDR2. The storage space of the C101K3W is about 120 GB on a hard drive. Compact, this laptop computer has a 10.1-inch display and weighs 1.2 kg. The resolution is 1024 x 600. With Wi-Fi b and g, it has only one USB port. Price: $890.
