Toshiba is the first to release 2.5-inch SSD drives of 512GB through its 43 nanometers assembly process and particularly the cell multi-level storage which doubles the current record of 256Go which was reached in early this year. You will not only have more storage space, but the starting up is also faster, capable to reach a speed (theoretical) of 240MB/s in reading and a speed of 200MB/s in writing. Its lifetime is about one millon of hours (114 years). Other specifications include AES encryption to secure your data. It will certainly cost a fortune.

Toshiba thought of gamers with the release of two new gaming laptops, the Dynabook Qosmio GX and FX. The specifications are impressive:

Here is the MK5055GSX, a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive with a speed of 5400rpm, a density of 576.4Mbit/mm2, for only 25dB.

In short nothing more technically speaking, but we know that our hard drive is also available in several versions, with models ranging from 120, 160, 250, 320 and 400GB.

Toshiba has just announced new laptops for the world of gaming: the Qosmio has respectively three GPU the Qosmio X305-706 and X305-708, with a 17-inch display and a weight of 4.5 kg. The first model is equipped with a P8400 at 2.26 GHz, 4 GB of DDR3 with a hard drive of 320 GB 7200 rpm. The second model is equipped with a QX9300 running at 2.53 GHz will be equipped in addition to a 128 GB in SSD.

Another laptop reserved for gamers from Toshiba, the Qosmio X305-Q708, equipped with a screen 17″ TruBrite, an Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core, a dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS 1GB, a 320GB hard drive, 128Go of NAND, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 4 senior Harman Kardon speakers with subwoofer, a 1.3 megapixel camera and also HDMI ports and DisplayPort. Prices start at $4199.99 …

Announced last September, the netbook of Toshiba, the NB100, which offers an Intel Atom N270 1.6 Ghz, 8.9″ screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 1GB of RAM, a 80GB hard drive, WiFi b/g, 3 USB ports “sleep-and-load” (able to recharge your equipment even if the PC is in standby), an integrated webcam, all under Windows Vista.

I have not any technical data but what I could see, it is rather small except the battery that comes nastily of the general design!
