Apart from the DVD player, the features of the SK-32H570D include: -

  • Tuner ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM with support for HD programming
  • Support for 720p and 1080i resolutions
  • Display of 1366×768 pixels
  • Viewing angle of 178°
  • Response time of 6.5ms
  • Contrast of 1200:1

At least the automatic adjustment of brightness makes it a little more attractive. This 32″ LCD HDTV cost $579. We hope that the algorithm of upconverting works well with most DVDs.
